Web design and development that brings in enquiries

We're a web design and development company in Cape Town, building websites for businesses across South Africa. We design each site around one job: getting the person reading it to call you, fill in a form or send a WhatsApp. Then we count those enquiries from the day it goes live.

As website developers who also run SEO and social media ads, we work in a different order. The page list comes first, built from what your customers type into Google. Design comes second. A site planned this way can rank and take ad traffic from launch, without a second project later to bolt the SEO on.

From R14,500, once-off. We're not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices.

What every build includes

The packages differ in page count, in how much of the writing we do and in whether customers pay on the site, as set out on website pricing. These come with all of them.

A page plan built from searches

Before any design, we list the pages the site needs and the search each one answers. A plumber gets one page for geyser replacement and another for blocked drains, because those are two different searches with two different sets of results.

Designed on a phone first

Each page is laid out at phone width before desktop. The call and WhatsApp buttons stay fixed at the bottom of the screen, and the main form asks only for what you need to call someone back.

Speed you can check

Google's web.dev guidance, checked in October 2026, rates a Largest Contentful Paint (the time until a page's main content appears) of 2.5 seconds or less as good. You can test any page yourself in Google's PageSpeed Insights. We test every page on a mid-range Android phone before launch, and fix any page whose main content takes longer than 2.5 seconds to appear.

Forms that reach you

Forms are tested before launch, email you a copy and store each submission, so a message can't disappear because an email bounced. Section 18 of POPIA expects people to be told why their details are being collected. Every form says what the details are for, links to your privacy policy and asks for marketing consent in a separate box that starts unticked.

Tracking from launch day

Call tracking numbers, form and WhatsApp logging, Google Analytics 4 and Search Console are in place before the site goes live, so the first report counts from day one.

Search basics

Page titles and descriptions, one H1 per page, schema markup that tells Google your business name, address and hours, an XML sitemap, and 301 redirects from every old address that still gets visits or links.

In your name

The domain, the site and the logins are in your name. If you move to another developer, you hand over the logins and there's nothing to buy back. We never hold back your domain, site or logins, even over an unpaid invoice.

What the monthly report shows

Every build includes the monthly enquiry report for the first three months after launch. It fits on one page, with visits and rankings in the appendix.

Enquiries by source

Calls, forms and WhatsApp taps, each traced to where the visitor came from: Google search, Google Maps, ads, social media or typing your address straight in.

Enquiries by page

Which page each enquiry started on. A service page that gets visits and no enquiries is the first thing we look at.

Cost per enquiry

If you run Meta, TikTok or LinkedIn ads to the site, what each enquiry from them cost, shown next to the enquiries from search and Maps that no ad platform billed you for.

Anything broken

Mobile load time for the busiest pages, any form that failed to send and any page returning an error.

What changes next month

One or two specific changes, such as moving the quote form higher on a page or rewriting a page that gets visits and no calls.

The first 90 days

  1. Step Month 1: Baseline and page plan

An hour-long kick-off video call and a count of last month's enquiries, so the new site has a number to beat. We write the page plan, with the search each page answers and what it asks the reader to do, and you sign it off before design starts.

  2. Step Month 2: Design and build

The homepage and one service page come first, on a staging address you open on your own phone. Once those two are right, the other pages follow the same templates. Every form, call button and WhatsApp link is tested on Android and iPhone before launch.

  3. Step Month 3: Live site and the first report

We plan for six to ten weeks from the kick-off call to launch, depending on the number of pages and how quickly we get your content. At launch the redirects go in and the domain points to the new site. At the end of month 3 you get the first report: calls, forms and WhatsApps by source, against the month 1 baseline, and what we'd change next.

Industries we build for

Each sector needs a different first action on the page. A private school's site books open-day visits, a security company's needs a call button that works at 2am, and a law firm's enquiry form should ask for as little as possible before the first call.

Armed response is sold area by area. We set up a Google Business Profile for each branch, build pages for the suburbs you respond in, and report the contracts they bring in.

16,704 PSiRA-registered security businesses were operating in June 2026 (reply to Parliament, NW2477).

A small practice won't outrank the national firms for "accountant". It can win "tax practitioner near me", where Google shows a Maps pack above the results and the nearest well-reviewed practice gets the call.

4,776 SAICA members and associates work as sole practitioners or partners (SAICA, August 2026).

Rule 18.22 of the LPC Code of Conduct treats paying for referrals as touting, which rules out most pay-per-lead schemes. So we build your own flow of enquiries from search, Maps and pages that answer what people ask before they phone an attorney.

2,241 South African law firms have between two and nine attorneys (LSSA statistics, 2026).

We use the words parents search with, "private schools" rather than "independent schools", and time campaigns to your enrolment dates.

2,469 independent schools in 2024, up from 2,282 in 2022 (DBE, School Realities 2024 and 2022).

Patients look for a GP or a specialist near home or work. We build pages and Google Business Profiles for each practitioner and location, and trace each appointment request to the search or ad behind it.

53,773 medical practitioners held active HPCSA registration in March 2024 (HPCSA Annual Report 2023/24).

A search for "dentist near me" puts a map of three practices above the websites. We work on the parts of that choice you can influence: your Business Profile, your reviews and your treatment pages.

6,866 dentists held active HPCSA registration in March 2024 (HPCSA Annual Report 2023/24).

Plumbers, electricians and pest control companies get hired from searches made in a hurry, like "plumber near me" with water on the floor. We set up your Business Profile for the areas you cover, build a page per service and area, and track every call.

Guests compare you on Google Maps and the booking sites before they book. We work on your own site, your Business Profile and its reviews, and count the bookings that come to you direct.

Our prices are on the site

Seven of the twelve South African agencies that rank most often on Google don't publish a pricing page. We'd rather you knew before we speak.

12 agencies checked across 19 searches, September 2026.

Questions about a new website

We plan for six to ten weeks from the kick-off call to launch, depending on the number of pages and how quickly we get your content. What slows a build down is usually waiting on photos, prices and details only you have, so we ask for them at the kick-off call.

We build on a platform you can edit yourself, so you can change text, photos and prices without us, and another developer can take the site over if you ever move.

Rankings can move for a few weeks. Google's site move guide (checked October 2026) says to expect that while it recrawls a changed site, and that 301 redirects don't lose PageRank. So before launch we list every page on the old site that gets visits or has links pointing to it, and send each one to its new page with a 301 redirect. After launch we check Search Console every day for the first week, and for the first month we look for errors and pages Google can't find.

Sometimes it can be fixed. A slow theme, a form that doesn't send or a missing service page can each be sorted without a rebuild. The free audit lists the five fixes we'd make first, and a new site only goes on that list when fixing the old one would cost more.

Both. Every build includes the search groundwork: the page plan, titles, headings, schema markup and redirects. Monthly SEO is separate, from R7,500 a month, and covers new pages and your Google Maps listing, with links from other sites on the larger packages.
